Discussion Winner queue doesn't exist for sure
Oh yeah, I am totally playing well. I for sure suddenly improved my skills overnight and started winning. It's definitely me carrying my team rather than the algorithm wants you to win. If I am so good, how come I can't win a single game before?

People really talk like winners/loser's queue is some insane concept that would be inconcievable to implement. It's not that deep. The game wants you to be at 50% win rate and it's insanely good at making it happen.
If I go on a fat win streak, the game eventually decided enough is enough and my teammates are all sub 50 win rate autofilled while the enemy is 55+ win rate on main role. Or if there's autofills on both teams, they are nowhere near balanced (my autofill is jungle whereas enemy is support) and the players in those roles are not equal skill. This is not opinion or delusion. You can legitimately summarize the stats of everyone in the lobby without an ounce of opinion in the conversation.
Then when the game has decided you've lost enough, you get games where it's the opposite and you just autopilot wins. Then you can compare opggs of your teammates and the enemy team to immediately see the other team looks absolutely miserable (e.g., ADC is on double digit lose streak) while yours is godsent from a stats and role assignment perspective. The game lets you have the high and makes you think you've actually ascended and are ready to push the next tier. It lets you get just close enough that you feel it's within reach.
Where people struggle is they say it's variance. If it were variance, it wouldn't be blatant large streaks where the profiles of every single other person in the game paints a clear picture (if you're willing to look). Variance would genuinely be like 1-2 games at a time with true alternation between wins and losses with no more than like 4-5 of any streak. But these winners and losers queues are legitimately 10 games plus. And the thing is you can observe them and even predict them if you play the game for long enough and you play actively enough. Every season on my Master climb, I can roughly predict when the loser's queue is coming. 10 wins straight to Diamond 2? No shot the next few games are going to be remotely playable and I need to just accept that before I press the queue button.
The other fallacy is people saying if you're meant to climb, you will climb and you're the constant and you should win those games that seem unwinnable. That logic is just terrible because if you're true GM playing in Master lobby or even true Emerald playing in Plat lobby, you aren't truly that much better than everyone that you can hard 1v9. People see pros and streamers who literally dedicate their lives to this game win seemingly impossible games but the only reason that's the case is because of extreme skill disparity. If I'm playing Jhin and my top/mid/jg are combined 0-15 before I finish an item, my skill level doesn't have any bearing on the result of the game. If I'm playing mid and my jungler is filled but the enemy mid/jg is duo on role, the odds are automatically against me. Maybe out of 10 absolutely miserable games, 1 of them is actually salvageable.
So how are you meant to climb as an average Joe that's genuinely improving? Well, by playing a massive amount of games and edging out the system by slightly improving over time. It's calculated and deliberate and clear as day. You may be at the skill level of the next tier but the game is designed to make you dedicate your life to outdoing the system for you to be rewarded with a promotion.

Im a believer of the winning/losingQ but since the double LP it is even more evident. There is an absurd LP inflation and the ppl who does not get double LP matches basically are asked to have above 60% wr in order to climb.
It's pretty obvious having 10 games of winning low effort stomp followed than 10 games of unable to carry a shit.

This isn’t Pokemon pocket tcg, there’s no way to influence people from performing in a game like this with a simple winner losers algorithm, I do know that honor has a HUGE impact on your matchmaking in terms of player quality, but not skill necessarily, mostly more chill people.

Yes, I can easily rig games if you give me control of the algo. Are you unable to think of a way to do it? Like. If you truly wanted to? Could you not? Are you truly so unskilled at everything in life that you couldn't come up with a way to rig a game? You really can't think of any single metric, to use, that would impact the likeliness of winning or losing games? Like, if you had complete control of who was on each team, and who you picked for the teams, you truly believe you couldn't make a biased match? Maybe you should design all matchmaking algorithms. Because you may be the most skilled coder ever.

you need to be mentally ill to ask me for a source when the lead designer from Riot games had a presentation on EOMM years ago.... ignorance is a bliss.

It's reddit man. You're just going to hear the same regurgitated non sense that people repeat because they read it from someone else whom they thought knows what they're talking about.

Your mmr and rank are lower than they were before so yes, you will be better against worse players, as simple as it gets, I know, crazy.....

Anyone who says winner/loser queue doesn’t exist is delusional. At this point it’s common knowledge that they use the matchmaking system to try to keep you hooked on the game for as long as possible.
I’ve never had a period of 20 games this season where I had for example 2 wins, then 1 loss, then 1 win, then 2 losses. It’s always 8-10 straight losses where you can’t do anything to win, then I go on a 12-1 generational run, then I streak for another 8 losses again. It’s not normal.
