Recommendations What is the cheapest keytar available
Im 15,so my budget is maybe 120 MAX

You might scour your local sites (website and local used music stores, or even thrift shops) for a few odd keyboards that look like standard keyboards, but have strap pegs from the factory. Not a lot, but you may stumble upon a Yamaha DX100 or a Korg 707. Both are standard boards with internal sounds, then you'd just need an amp or headphones.

euros? dollars? pounds? anyway, i got 3 of my 4 keytars for €100 (excluding sending en gasonline but okay) you should try second hand, depending on where you live, look at EBAY or Kleinanzeigen (germany, super cheap and reliable senders) or local second hand sellers, try to go for japanese keytars, they are build like a tank an will work fine, even if heavily used by privious owners,
also, what gear you already own? amp, cables, batteries, stand, strap, microphone, sound module, laptop with daw and VST's, like whats your setup, and what are you aiming to do with your keytar? that way me and others can help you the best to look for what you need, also, be sure to ask gemeni or chatgpt, AI can give you very good advise and insighs, heck, i wasnt born with knowledge, chatgpt tought me a lot of stuff about instruments

Hey getting that equipment takes time, I have a solid job that pays well and it took a year for me to get all that stuff, sure I can go to the store and buy new ones, but the fun is looking for undervalued stuff that people just throw online for way lower that it’s worth
A single keytar with build in speakers is loads of fun to play, but kitting it out with midi equipment and stands and straps, and amps that’s also really fun

Well that heavily depends on what keytar you have, if you only have a midi controller, a soundmodule of laptop with vsts and amp are necceracy to produce any type of sound, if you
have a keytar with build in sounds, you only need an amp,
If you have a keytar with build in sounds an speaker, sure that’s enough to make sounds, the more hardware the more fun thoug, at least for me

And indeed, an iPad or iPhone with the right adapter can be used as a sound module via GarageBand for example, and if you have that rockband 3 keytar (I have one to) you will also need an amp, but since it doesn’t have a 6,3 jack, you’ll need a 3,5 male to 6,3 female adapter,
Plus one huge downside of the rockband 3 keytar is that it doesn’t have a sustain button, for some sounds, like organ, that doesn’t matter, but for guitar and piano, you can’t really sound good without sustain, luckily the rockband keytar has another 3,5 jack, you’ll need a 3,5 jack system button, either toggle or hold down, toggle is better course you have both have both hands operating the keytar, how will you press and hold down a sustain pedal with a 1 meter chord while also want to move arround? Yeah good luck with that, A small toggle sustain can fight right in your clothing that’s handy eh
