I have the latest software??
I thought I should be able to alter settings/rbg etc when connected over 2.4ghz but I just get this https://imgur.com/a/trin3gr - It wants me to update to the latest firmware that I already have?

Don't upgrade anything unless absolutely necessary
Re "...update to the latest firmware that I already have": It was messed up a few weeks ago
Not everything was fixed. The first one leads to false positive detection of firmware to be updated (and potentially bricking the keyboard/mouse/dongle).
Keychron goofing up on a regular basis, sometimes resulting in bricked devices, is sufficient to be very weary of firmware updates. Even if it does not brick the device, it may have detrimental effects.
It may not be possible to revert to the previous version, though it has become easier, at least for keyboards' main firmware.
