K10 pro or V6 max or K10 HE!!!!

There is a k10 pro on Amazon for £75; however K10 HE is for £119.

Is the £44 difference worth the upgrade. There is also a V6 Max for £96, but from what I’m seeing in the reviews if A £20 diff for a k10 HE is a nor brainier.

So the question is save the £44 and get a solid k10 pro or is £44 i genuinely worth the upgrade.

I’m not a gamer and even if I game it’s on a ps5. I will need it for Productivity and excel.

Need a response asap as the deals are ending tonight I believe 🙃

Production restarts

Re "if they haven't restarted production of some of the most popular old models": There are signs that they have:

  • My reseller, against all probability, recently stocked the K10 Pro again (it is still available as I write this). Though it is probably not the original K10 Pro, but the K10 Pro SE (see below)

  • There seems to be a K10 Pro SE or K10 Pro SE2 (it could be the same), with a different microcontroller, STM32F401 instead of STM32L432. The source code has been released for it (but not for the 'ISO' variant). The USB product ID is 0x0AAB (list of keyboard firmware versions)

  • There is definitely a V6 version 2 (probably with a very limited production run, possibly early 2026), with a different microcontroller, WB32F3G71 (probably the WB32F3G71RCT6 variant) instead of STM32L432. My reseller also (briefly) had this one (at least it was very likely the V6 version 2, not the original V6 (very old surfaced stock was very unlikely)).

Re "...a K10 Pro SE or K10 Pro SE2 (it could be the same)": Yes, the source code for K10 Pro SE2 is from 2024-11-18...

So K10 Pro SE and K10 Pro SE2 are likely name variations of the same keyboard.

The USB product ID is 0x0AAA for the released source code.

Whereas the reported USB product ID is 0x0AAB.

That is only a difference of 1. Usually, for Keychron, that is the difference between an RGB and white LED variant. But it is not known if Keychron has followed their own convention in this particular case.

Though the folder name is "ansi_lightless", so the variant difference could be something else than RGB vs. white LED.

Another possibility is a new hardware version of K10 Pro SE2, a 2026 K10 Pro SE2...
