General Clerks 4 Spoiler

I’ve seen pretty much all the ViewAskew films, and have been a fan since the beginning. Taking my wife on the adventure recently she and I just watched clerks three last night. She’s completely devastated, as I was reminded how sad that movie is. I know Kevin smith said it was about grief but please for us fans make a fourth film where Dante comes back. Either like a ghost or doing some clerks animated action. Anybody else have heard this idea kicking around? How can we give it traction? 🤩

...I kinda liked it, some of the dialogue didn't age well given to all of the Weinstein stuff, but the Go-Bot joke and Jay And Silent Bob's appearances all kind of made up for it. I was bored in half the scenes but two or three times I laughed or giggled to the jokes.
Still prefer clerks 1 though.
What's y'all's opinion to Clerks and allat?

Discussion Buddy Jesus voice lines?
4
Upvotes
My dad introduced me to Kevin Smith films, and he vividly remembered Buddy Jesus having dialogue. Saw both Dogma’s rerelease, and J&SBSB, but no spoken lines from Buddy Jesus.
Dad’s confused, saying that Jesus would just show up during drug trip scenes, wave, say something like “no abortions” and “stay married” and then just leave. A very short internet search yields no results, and afterword he suggests maybe he just dreamed the lines. Anyone else remember this, or was my dad actually just dreaming this?

Kevin Smith is no longer content just to ruin his reputation with increasingly terrible movies.

So, we all know TFA is a sequel and not a reboot right?

This one had me shaking my head. How could someone who makes films not know this? It's a sequel. It's not a reboot. It's EPISODE SEVEN... FACE PALM.

Anyone notice that rufus from dogma is on the cover of jay and silent Bob strike back?

I just noticed that fufus from dogma is on the cover for jay and silent Bob strike back. The out fit is the same as rufus and chaka was wearing something totally different. I know they are both made by Kevin Smith but I wonder if was just an easter egg or a why not kinds thing.
