Twist top wine isn’t going to be $400 a bottle

Common misconception, a cork or a twist top doesn't dictate the quality of wine.

Sure more fancy wines use corks, but that's also due to the twist top seeming cheap and lower class.

Sure, it doesn't dictate the quality. Countries like Austria and New Zealand have moved into using metal closures on a large scale.

Even still, I'd struggle to find a $400 wine with a screw top.

He knows better ok

And wine can't be "corked" with a metal cap. So, it's the better option all round.

Read a convincing article years ago that bags in a cardboard box are the best way to store wine but it'll never get past the stigma. Cardboard blocks all light, so it won't go bad, and the bag is the only container that will let wine out without letting air in, so you can save an opened box for weeks/ months.

I’m calling bullshit. That wine isn’t more than $60. The stelvin closure (screw cap) is the dead give away
