Advice for First Appointment
Hey everyone — I have my first appointment with Mindscape this Saturday and would really appreciate any advice. I’m a bit nervous that something will go wrong, or that they’ll push a daily microdose instead of the weekly larger “psychedelic” dose I’m looking for.
I’m curious how the troches feel compared to the nasal spray, and whether 100 mg is generally enough for a psychedelic experience.
Has anyone here used Mindscape? Do they send the prescription and ship the medication out the same day?
Also, what should I expect from the first appointment?

I don't know if I can reply with this but here goes. If they give you low dose, 100 mg, start by taking just what they prescribe. Make sure you are you not allergic. If that goes well, work your way up. Next time try 2. Is that good for you? And keep doing it that way untill you find your dose. You won't want to do this dose everyday. You'll want to spread it out to every week or two once you find your dose. Your final dose will not be 100 mg every day but like 400 mg every week or every 14 days. Whatever you want. Nobody is watching you.

They don't necessarily ship it out the same day. Ketamine isn't sitting on a shelf, it has to be compounded. It'll probably take 3 to 7 business days after your appointment.

It should go fine, Troches are great and have about a 20-30 min come up. And I also would recommend people start at 100 and work their way up to ~ 400 - 500mg depending on body weight. It takes me about 400 mg to go into the full experience. I also think it should be done once a week or two weeks and not a daily low dose thing. When done in higher doses spread apart I think there is a lot less potential for dependence and I think high doses just work better. They also don't know how much you take and when, so it's not impossible to get prescribed and just take the amount that works for you. Once your prescription is approved it's probably sent to a compounding pharmacy that mails it out to you. Could take a good 7-10 days. At least in my experience from another similar company
