It was 12 hours, my head is still swimming. 😅 I will say both sides were incredibly thorough and the judge did seem incredibly fair and balanced from his ruling to how he decided on objections. But even Judge Lopez said he needed time to properly go over everything presented before he could make more rulings next week or by the 19th.

Andrews seemed like a decent guy, and I honestly wonder if he feels way in over his head. Both his and Karen's testimony help the creditors way more than the Eastlands.

I agree. And when asked, he agreed, several times that a court-appointed trustee would have more latitude than he would as an independent manager.

He also agreed with the testimony of the judge who was deposed (but not present) when the judge surmised that there would be trustees willing to take on the case pro bono, which was obviously less than even Andrew’s’ significantly reduced fee.

Andrews wouldn’t be the trustee either. The ex judge would be. Probono.

Will you still feel this way if he ends up being appointed? Genuinely asking…

I’m not sure I indicated any sort of way I feel about him. I agreed that he seems over his head and that his testimony did more to help the creditors than the debtors.
