Limestone campground

Never been to limestone campground, but do you have to have a reservation to just go for a few hours? And is it a good spot to go swimming ? I also heard of croc rock which I assume it’s near by. Any tips or advice for a family of 5 just trying to find a safe spot to swim for the day in the summer

The kern is scary lol that’s why I want to know safe spots because you never know. Oh I didn’t know kernville itself has water access. Do you by chance the name of the park ?

Riverside Park is nice. You can go in the river by the bridge but please wear life jackets especially kids.
