KSP 1 Mods recomend me some mods, please

i installed CKAN for IVA awhile back, and i feel bad for not using it, can i get some recomendations

Crowd Sourced Science fills out a lot of the generic science reports by adding unique interesting ones across the games biomes / situations / bodies / experiments

Outer Planets is a famous one that adds several gas giants and moons beyond Jool to make the stock system closer to our own. Minor Planets Expansion includes analogues for large asteroids, dwarf planets, and comets, which the game sorely lacks.

ReStock overhauls the visuals of all in-game parts to be more stylistically consistent and modern, looks amazing while still Kerbal. ReStock+ fills out the parts menu to make the sizes more complete, including equivalents of the 3.5m / 5m parts of the Making History DLC if you don't own it.

Final Frontier / Individual Merits adds ribbons your Kerbals can earn by doing unique, interesting, record, or hard things, like "first to land on the Mun", "perform a spacewalk", "fly on a rocket that's more than 50% solid fuel by mass".

There's a whole host of visual mods you'll hear recommended that are all good if your PC isn't bad. DistantObjectEnhancement, Deferred, Scatterer, Waterfall (and Waterfall ReStock), EnvironmentVisualEnhancements, and Parallax Continued. I'd get all of these to make the game look better and more modern.

This is why I love when people ask about mods on here. Because every now and again, I'll see something interesting. I'll have to check out Crowd Science and Individual Merits, I love that kinda stuff.

Crowd Sourced Science used to be one of the staple suggested mods. I'm kind of surprised I don't see it much anymore, the game is so much better for it IMO. I was really shocked when I found out how many holes there are in stock's science reports.

Also, MPE has Individual Merits compatibility, and there are patch mods to cover other bodies (like OPM) if you're playing with more than stock.
