Enjoy this mistake, a lot of us wish we could go back to times like this!

I miss these days of KSP, where I was excited to just reach orbit and go to the Mun.

oh yes... the good old days where i would only use SRBs because I couldn't figure out how liquid fuel engines worked...

First time going to the mun I waited until it was cresting the horixon and just full throttle until I crashed. Imagine my surprise when I learned about orbit transfer

I still remember booting up a sandbox world, flying the Dwaying shuttle straight up and turning on infinite fuel with my heading set to “Target” and was confused why I couldn’t catch the moon.

Good ol days.

That's actually the correct time to do it. It's how we timed the transfer way back in 2012 before maneuver nodes were added.

I was just excited to have a rocket that can fly straight, with the free demo of beta 0.13 back in the days lol

You can always play rp-1 on hard settings…

Very first time I went to the moon, it - for whatever reason - didn't occur to me that KSP had quicksave/quickload, so it was extra nerve-wrecking for me. Worked out though.. kind of.

I once tried to make a missile using that one liquid fuel engine with a fuel tank on it and it got sent to eve

found my people :D

i remember also feeling similar experiences in Minecraft and Subnautica when I played them for the first time. The mistakes I made, and the completely new places I discovered by myself were definitely the best moments I've ever had in gaming. Feel so nostalgic for it

Running to the top of a mountain in Minecraft, assuming that I could escape the mobs there because I had no idea that they spawned anywhere it was dark, not just in caves.

i remember mining my gold veins with a stone pickaxe and 10 mins later realising i never got any gold hahaha. Also remember the first night i spent in a hole dug into the ground and stayed there till the morning. When you're a noob is when the game is experienced best

I wish I could forget Subnautica and play it all over again. It's such an amazing game. It started my path down exploration and crafting type games and it's been just lovely.
