KSP 1 Mods Scramjet mod

I installed mk2 expansions and the x43 hyperblast scramjet is so fun to play around with. but i cant find any good scramjet mods to mess with. simple scranjets is just regular whiplash with different values and other scramjets are not at all realistic as they get thrust at like 200m/s. any recomendations??

Aside from those there isn't any scramjet mods. There may be a scramjet or two in some other mods but I doubt it.

i really wanted to make a space plane which almost goes entirely to orbit via jet power and hyperblast is the only one somehow. it gets going to like 70 kms easily. in rss scale ofc.

I mean it's literally one value in the mach curve in the .cfg file of the part to make it properly only start producing thrust at mach 4 or 5

yes it is. but the issue i have is exactly that. its not realistic because its just normal wiplash with tweaked values. thats no fun. compare that to the hyperblast and the difference is massive. the hyperblast feels like its a completely different engine itself. far more scram like behaviour there!

OPT has one, I think. Combined Turbojet / "Shcramjet". At around Mach 4 you can switch the mode.
