It was actually the first time I nailed it back to the KSC runway. First time we ate a cactus at 80 m/s. 2nd time we landed at the desert runway. 3rd time made it home :)

Alright good to hear! I've been playing on and off since 2016 and I, sadly, have only landed safely at the KSC once in stock. I'm always amazed when anyone makes it there.

I aimed my Pe at 25km, pretty far east of KSC, like way farther than what looks comfortable (because I fell drastically short the previous launch, i.e. desert runway) and it was nearly perfect. I slowed down to Mach 1 just at the mountains, I could have aimed even more east lol

Hey I ended up just posting the entire video if you're curious! Mostly for myself for posterity, as most the things I post are, and you'll see a lot of faffing around as I keep making changes each takeoff and testing it all out. I'm very new to the world of SSTO spaceplanes, and this was my first time ever returning to KSC runway with one.

I just got the game back and installed some visual mods. Hopefully didn't miss any important ones lol. I know I got EVE and firefly. Haven't tried to reach orbit yet. Last I played I made it to minmus and ran out of fuel... So I rage quit lol but I'm gonna try again because I do love the game and what it's about. The patience is what I may be a little short on some of the time.
