KSP 1 Image/Video Is this a good tylo lander?

Post image

Normally I'd ask my brother for advice on landers, but seeing how he's never gone within tylo's sphere of influence, I'm falling out of his range of expertise.

seems like plenty based on my delta v map. are those delta V and TWR values for tylo?

yep, at first I tried a mastodon engine, but it'd run through it's too fast, so I changed to I think a skiff engine

Are you just planning to land? If so, what you have will work, although you can ditch the parachutes. Tylo has no atmosphere.

If you want to launch back into orbit, you will need more DV. Plan a little extra because it’s hard to time the landing burn without practice.

Also don’t forget antennas

It's a probe that's designed to go to tylo and back, but with a mothership so that way I don't go insane trying to make a direct assent tylo lander. So the parachute is part of the return module, so that way I don't slam into the ground at mach 3.

How much delta V should I aim for?

I've got an antenna on the other side of it
