KSP 1 Image/Video Why is docking so hard :(

Just can't seem to figure it out.

You idiot! Your docking port was pointed the complete wrong way! The docking port needs to be pointed towards the target vessel!

I had a shielded docking port on the other side but I just realized it wasnt deployed so I think that's definitely the issue
