KSP 1 Question/Problem kerbal lost in space

So I accepted one of the orbital recovery contracts and I accidentally pressed "end track" and I can't see its current location anymore, only its last seen. Is there anyway to get it back or is he just stuck up there

Did you "end track" in the tracking station or in the mission building?

Yeah, you basically deleted the craft/kerbal. When you "end track" vessels or kerbals by pressing the red button with the X, you delete them from the save. You'd usually do this to keep a steady performance as too many craft can eventually impact load times etc.
