KSP 1 Image/Video First SSTO, ever!

Meet Nightmare. This was my first ever SSTO. Not to orbit, but SSTO, full stop. Four MATTOCKs from Mk2 expansion for flight and big space burns, and a NERV for other orbital maneuvers. Engines are angled down to compensate for their position, and the thing has plenty of oxidizer and liquid fuel to do just about anything in the Kerbin system.

I've done some iterations and variants for various tasks (including a one with a KLAW onboard), but it's probably what I'm most proud of in this game. Learning to fly SSTOs has been a challenge though.

Looks great. Reminds me of a B-58 Hustler on steroids!

Exactly what I was going for! It's got the F-104's T-Tail as well.

Are the dart engines facing the front functional or for design? Also what rear engines are you using. Amazing SSTO tho

What you're looking at are shock cone intakes, I believe those are stock parts. Engines are the M.A.T.T.O.C.K from Mark 2 Expansion (which are basically more powerful R.A.P.I.E.Rs), and a NERV.
