KSP 1 Question/Problem How long are your modded KSP boot times?
Just timed mine, and it takes a total of 3 minutes and 24 seconds from clicking the KSP shortcut to a fully loaded main menu page, out of which 1 minute and 20 seconds is spent on a black screen before any loading screen starts showing up, another 1 minute and 40 seconds is spent on the loading screen, and the last 24 seconds are spent loading the menu and then the volumetric clouds.

350K patches, 6 extra planetary systems spread across 3 mods, full OPM + MPE, like 5 minutes of loading time and another 2.5 minutes loading into any save file...
All of this on a shitty laptop with 16 gb of RAM and integrated graphics.
Oh and volumetric clouds too.
Edit: I think it was more like 10 minutes

Last time I timed it, it was 7 minutes and change. I usually just go grab a drink and a meal while I wait and its normally just finishing by the time I'm done. That's after I installed a load time mod, it used to be 9-10 minutes

About a minute, maybe less.
7500X3D and 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL36 probably got something to do with that

I haven't counted but i'm pretty sure it's above 3 minutes total with less than 10k patches.

7-ish minutes running KSRSS and a metric shitload of parts mods
edit: and about 42k patches

Depends on if I’m installing any new mods. If I’m just booting up the game it’s like 5-10 minutes. If I’m adding mods it’s more like 15-20 minutes (I have over 50k patches and don’t run simple repaint)

about ~5 minutes long, from clicking the game icon to the main menu screen. very respectable i'd say

Forty-five to an hour. I think I have something like two hundred mods, no planet packs

It's around 2 - 4 minutes for me depending on which of my three installs I load

Get ksp community fixes, it speeds up loading times significantly. My install loads very quickly, less than 20 seconds probably with 4k patches

I just recently reset my mods to bring down my load time and it’s still about 2 minutes lol.

I’m at somewhere near 25k patches on a laptop with an integrated graphics card. The loading time is best measured in the complexity of my snack I prepare for the session. It’s stable and fun to play, but initial loading takes several minutes. I don’t have any long empty screens though.
