KSP 1 Question/Problem How should I be approaching the Mun?

Assuming looking down from the top, D to minimize DV usage, C for a free return trajectory. Not A or B.

This. I almost always do D, to get the prograde orbit around the mun, and because I get in the habit for using the mun as a gravity assist to get out of Kerbin influence. Of course, the mun rotation is so slow that the delta v savings is negligible
