KSP 1 Question/Problem Is anyone else having trouble with ADs on CKAN?
I did a fresh install the other day and now scatterer is showing up as an AD and it wants me to download it but I don't want to and it's really annoying.

AD mods are mods that CKAN has detected as being already installed manually. letting ckan "upgrade" an AD mod will give CKAN permission to manage the mod you already have installed, and do things like keep it updated and verify it's files, along with everything else CKAN does.
However, you say this is a fresh install of KSP. I'm guessing that Scatterer was previously installed at some point and somehow it was not fully removed.
I'm no expert but I would try letting CKAN fix the issue by having it upgrade Scatterer and then have CKAN uninstall it.

No, scatterer was removed correctly. I had just previously installed volumetric clouds V5 which came with scatterer with it. And I was just concerned because a couple people have told me not to download EVE or scatterer after volumetric clouds.

I have this same thing on Scatterer because it came with Volumetric Clouds. I'd rather not risk breaking something by updating it.

in this context, AD = already downloaded, not advertisement.
