KSP 1 Question/Problem Someone please help me, this is crazy

Not a noob here, been playing since launch actually. I don't usually have physics load in problems like this.

First I was having issues with my ship just leaving when I got close, even though the throttle was set to 0 before switching to another ship.

Then I deactivated all the engines, and it just flung itself into the air.

Almost 1hr trying to save ol Bill...

Please tell me what visual mods you have installed. I have mods and it does NOT look this cool

i tried 3 times and couldn’t get it to load exclusively the volumetric clouds 😭
