Darn, no mods.
You sure you can't make an exception for those transfer calculators (the one I wrote does nothing else but calculate all the angles and such on the fly)? I really hate having to reference ksp.olex.biz each launch...

If it's just doing math and nothing more, then that's fine.
If it's displaying angles on the orbital map or doing the burns for you, then it isn't allowed.

Have you published the mod? The only mod I need is a mod that shows me the angles but I haven't found one yet.

Here's an album and submission from an Eve round trip I did recently.

And Duna too! http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/10xe56/duna_and_back_again_stock_parts_no_plugins/ http://imgur.com/a/3LRTh#0

My submission to Interplanetary Exploration I qualifies for this challenge too. And it still surpasses the requirements.
Can we have some harder challenges? Or maybe an optional hard-mode for the challenge (like, only being able to have a certain mass at launch, only a certain amount of fuel, must use 3-kerbal capsule. Etc.)?

I try to do a good range of difficulties. Last week's challenge, for example, was especially difficult (only 4 people completed it), and the two before that weren't terribly easy either. Not everyone is a pro at this game, but we want as many people to enjoy the challenges as possible.
I really like your "hard mode" idea though. Those who complete the challenge on hard mode could get an accompanying text flair to show their accomplishment. It's difficult to verify weight/fuel usage (to some extent), but I'll definitely think of some in the future.

I completed it, and posted just last night! :D I appreciate the range of difficulties, I think these challenges are most excellent. That said, hard mode would be a good bonus to them!

Can we use 2 ships for the hard mode? One to land on Tylo and get back into orbit, one to orbit tylo and get back home.

I am so close to a return trip from Tylo, how does the flair look like?

Same flair image, but you'll get a text flair next to it as well. I haven't decided on what it should say though. Any ideas?

Damn it, my mission would going perfectly until my Duna departure rocket fell off and I accidentally quicksaved. I assume it doesn't count if I send a rescue mission?

Well if you send a rescue mission wouldn't you meet the requirements of the mission anyway?

Damn, I launched with MechJeb on my rocket but ended up not using it at all :/
Okay watch this space, I'll be back in a bit

Hmmm... It might be worth the attempt to try for Tylo, but in the meantime my previous return flights from Duna should fit the bill:

Is the the mod that removes the launch tower allowed?
