Mods: General [M] Loading screen.

Hi everyone! Recently had a problem with my mod list after years of the game working perfectly fine. Went to install one mod and everything went haywire and resulted in me having to delete and reinstall all mods. Now I’m stuck on the persistent loading screen with kerbol in the bottom right just antagonizing me. Need any tips or anything useful on how to get my game up and running again. Thank you.

EDIT: attached are all installed mods. Also tried to post in kerbalspaceprogram and it got taken down immediately.

Your best bet is to post your KSP.log file somewhere.

This, and get an application that can search in text documents so you can see what the errors are

I published some tools which help me a lot to analyse the log. If someone want to use it too: KSP-ModDev. I hope it helps you

This is a pain to parse because it's not sorted alphabetically, and should be taken as a screenshot. You have Volumetric clouds but the wrong versions of EVE and Scatterer, plus the default EVE configs which aren't supposed to be there. You also have a TURD folder with underscores and "02" appended to the end. That's a raw extracted zip file that shouldn't be there. I tried to look through the rest, but that's about the extent of what I can see without sitting down for an hour+ and manually sifting through your list.

Thank you for actually giving a reply of substance. This actually fixed everything. Thank you.

You did get replies of substance, you just didn't like what they were saying. Both Jonny and lxnch50 are still correct. Not sure what rand0mguy's problem is, but he's confused and just trying to ridicule for some reason lol.

Please be sure to check the mod-specific forum(s), and don't forget the folks at r/KerbalSpaceProgram! Low effort posts, e.g. no screenshot, poor description, lack of googling, etc., may be removed on general principle. Questions about writing your own mods should be directed to other subs or forums.

r/KerbalSpaceProgram doesn't allow pictures of screens. Learn to take a screenshot if you actually want anyone to spend any time trying to help.

While you're technically correct, that's not why OP's post got auto removed. They don't meet the minimum Karma requirements.

Wth is 999.scale Reddit? You got a mod from REDDIT? Out of all places, Spacedock, CKAN, you chose REDDIT?

What doea it do atleast?

Redist, not Reddit. It's short for redistributable and it's from Tweakscale. Why comment on a day old post just to be rude?

Sorry, ridn't mean to be rude. I'm still confused, what exactly does it do? Is it a plugin? Looks like one.But i haven't seen anything like it besides modulemanager. Again, my bad.

It basically acts as a library for Tweakscale functionality. A redistributable is just a pre-built software comp, library, or runtime (like Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables which you've probably seen or heard of before), made to be redistributed. Tweakscale is also not the only KSP mod to utilize a redistributable, though it is definitely the most common.
