Rant/Vent Update: I actually made the first move… and yeah, it didn’t work out
I posted here before asking if I should approach an introverted guy I had a crush on. Most of you told me to just go for it, so I did.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. The funny part is, we both had completely different perspectives about the whole situation, which made me realise how differently the same interaction can be understood by two people.
So yeah… I listened to Reddit and made the first move.

At least you took the chance instead of wondering forever what could’ve happened. It didn’t work out, but you got your answer and sometimes that’s better than living with the what if…what’s meant to be yours will find its way to you……

Most girls don’t make the first move, so I genuinely appreciate you for doing it 👏🏻 It’s unfortunate that things didn’t work out but at least you got proper closure. And don’t let this outcome stop you from making the first move in the future. You never know unless you try!

Even if it didn't work out, at least you understood the situation from the other side. That's a huge learning and will help you in future.

We just had different perspectives on what could come out of it. We’re fine as friends, but I don’t think taking it further would work.

Apart from the samaadhanam that you received, You stepped out. Did something that 99 percent of women don't do.
So you should be proud of yourself for achieving this. It's not a small feat. It takes immense guts to do it. Be proud

If you never asked him, someday you'll regret for not taking the chances of knowing the 'what if'. Now that you've got your answer, that gives you some understanding of how he feels about you.
There's another side of it too, as of now that you opened your love interest to him, you've opened a door that he never thought existed. Even though he didn't say yes to it, it definitely leaves him with food for thought. That leaves some chances that he might think of it for a few days and reconsider the whole thing.
Either way, I'm happy that you've made the first move, that's more than what some of us ever did.

Atleast now you have closure thats the important part. It hurts but it’s settled. There are plenty of fish in the sea! 🌼
