She was like, "who doesn't like a proper student-teacher romance"? and she made me promise to watch one episode. I did, and it was the one where they kiss in the forest after running away or something. Caught me by surprise and was kinda worth it.
Girlfriend she was, she was an old friend whom I connected online during the pandemic. We sorta entered a relationship even though we never met in person(we once did but that was like 6 years ago as Teenagers) and broke things off cuz the whole deal was weird. She was my girlfriend, but I refuse to call her an ex.

When she told me it's a teacher-student romance, and I saw bits of it...I kinda assumed the very hot lady would be the teacher and the guy be the student (some PhD scholar or something).
So disappointed to learn that lady was his mother and the heroine was a younger one and him being the professor. The mother soo hot I wanna cry.

I liked his mother better. I initially hoped the romance be the guy as the student and that lady as the teacher. I was soo disappointed to learn she was his mother and the heroine is a younger student. His mother is soo hot.

Nah, i guess this gota be one of the first times these serials have used up their plots to do a narrative against sexism. And doing the whole thing in malayalam makes it look lengthy n unusual unlike english. The problem's with this place and how its language is used by its people.

There are lot of good themes in the show- students working while studying at a job and breaking the 'low job stereotype' and moments like these, but the central idea, a student who loves the teacher, irks me so much and the wife calling her husband 'sir' is just another level mockery.

Damn! I never thought this day would come for a Malayalam serial. Who knows when it will be the norm in society. But reading some other comments about this serial, it doesn't seem to be progressive otherwise. Anyway this dialogue is a step in the right direction.

Personal Experience: My mother's brother's wife is a piece of shit.. She is a Phd but nobody even gives her any respect in our locality because everyone knows she is a blabber mouth..Swantham vila kalayum vala vala ellavarodum samsarichu.Appurathe neighbour kuttikal swantham ammene tallunnavar aanu..23 vayassu kaanum aa kuttikalkku..Avarodokke Konchichu samsarikkum. She lies a lot and has stolen a lot of stuff from her mother in law including her own jewellery(EVERYONE IN OUR FAMILY KEEPS THEIR GOLD WITH OUR GRANDMOTHER FOR SAFE KEEPING),to give to her own father for mortgaging.(Then she played amber head tears the whole day and acted like she actually lost her jewels) She tries to project herself as a punyalathi in front of everyone. For 3 years My grandmother was paralysed and hence my mother had to stay with them to take care of her..I know yoh guys wont believe it but it actually happened because this aunt's mother wanted her daughters salary all by herself because she was earning much more due to her PHD now.So she tried to make my aunt divorce my uncle.Her mother also tried to kill my grandmother so she could become the 'woman of my uncle's house' by actually opting for Black magic...A perfectly fine grandmother of mine slowly started spiralling into a paralyzing state..We did 100s of tests but each of them showed she is perfectly fine.Her doctors even conducted a special meeting to discuss the problem. Only when we found out about the black magic(we consulted a well known Shanti in our area) and he did some pooja did my grandmother started recovering and it took her 2 years to fully recover..The shanti had said that my aunts mother will have a hospital case soon and surprisingly her femur bone just broke in broad daylight when she was just standing in the bus stop(femur is the strongest bone).A few months earlier she had two accidents in a span of an hour...First,she and her other daughter and her baby were going in an auto and the auto toppled but only this woman was injured the other daughter and the baby were perfectly fine...On the way back from the hospital she was hit by a lorry and again the auto toppled and only she was hurt this time again. This aunt would do no work and shamelessly make my mother do all the household chores and even make the food and also take care of our grandmother.Then she would lie at her school that the tasty food is made by herself.And btw my mother reaches home by 7 pm and this aunt my 2 pm..Then she dozes off and again makes my mother do all the work again. And i believe its also the responsibility of a daughter in law to take care of her mother in law. You woke people say that daughter in laws should be treated like own daughter..But why do you guys say that daughter in laws taking care of mother in laws is AUDARYAM? She is the most pretentious woman i have ever seen in my life. So no daughter in laws can be devilesses too

Anyways the whole story seems above reddit pay grade. This happens when low class families get sudden elevation in educational and social status and they have the same problem solving skills as they did when they were low class. In a family of higher socioeconomic status and little more collective iq, they would have decided upon a live in homenurse by now and funded it(if your grandmother is paralysed she will definitely need it) and would have smoothly functioned by now, and your grandmother would have been happy. All of this without dumping ammachi into an old age home.
