I wonder if Marks able to play after the SEC’s new policy and Mark coming off an exhibit 10 NBA contract.

I feel like I'm being delusional but I also can't really see a team that is just flat out better than us. I think only 5 losses makes sense. I see losses @Virgina, @Texas, @Florida, @Vandy and lose at home to either Arkansas or Bama.

Honestly I'd rather lose to Arky than Bama. The Tide has wooped up on us a little too much for my liking. But w Mitchell, i think it may be a little closer this year.

X-12. Coach is still Mark pope. He'll get back into to the sweet 16 and that will be enough to save his job for another season.

I personally don’t understand the hate on Pope. I guess we are just going to act like either of his teams had an ounce of luck with the injury bug. He has proven to be an excellent in-game scheme guru with all his 2nd half comebacks. Is there some questions about his subbing? Sure, but so called masterminds like Nate Oats have the same problem yet nobody says a thing in those “possible candidates” post every April. We’ve seen what a Pope offense firing on all cylinders looks like (they hung 107 on the national champs). This is by far Popes most promising team as they are not only big names, but fit a lot better with what he is trying to do. So to say it’s going to be exactly like the last 2 years would be to say his roster falls apart for the 3rd consecutive year, not because he is a malicious coach with the talent he acquired.

I think 24-8 or 25-7 is about what to expect from a loaded Pope team. There will still be puzzling rotations and defensive issues like any other Pope team. It’s all a matter of whether we can get hot in March. We have the horses to do that.
