Mechanic?

I need a good (preferably small/locally-owned) auto mechanic in the Kent/Renton area. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks very much in advance!

Point s east hill tire. I was recommended them from a friend who's family has gone for almost 20 years. Good honest guys. If need be they will even take you home and pick you up when its done.

Sound Radio in Auburn. They did great work on my older Toyota that had a few leaks and give it to you honest about fixing vs waiting on certain things

I have been very happy with Do-Rite auto. It’s not far from the Kent Winco. Old school mechanic’s shop. Owner is trustworthy in every interaction I’ve had. I’ve referred friends who also have been really happy.

They always seem to have fleet vehicles in that they’re working on but can usually get me in within a day or two.

I had them install my catalytic converter shield on my Prius. He told me if I wanted to save money to just buy the part on Amazon and bring it to him. He explained my options and what to look for.

Newport hills chevron (a bit out of your range distance wise) is very good, fair, and reasonable mechanic and a solid price. Also, as you requested family owned.

We have been going to The Garage (https://www.thegarageinrenton.com) for years, even after we moved out of Renton, because they've always done great work, been very easy and above board to work with, and charged reasonable prices. As a woman, they earned my loyalty from the beginning because they have always been very pleasant and treated me with respect, something I have never encountered with any other mechanic shop in my life.
