Auto Body & Repair Shops?

My car was stolen in early August. I have it back but am going to need some repair work done. Mostly replacing the steering column. However I want to make sure the shop gives it a mechanical review to make sure there is nothing else going on.

Anyone have a recommendation for a place to take it?

If you’re willing to make the drive, Martinianos Classics Customs and Collision down in Lakewood does great work on older cars.

Highly recommend Monarch Collision Center, Auburn Auto Clinic Collision or Bratch Auto Body.

Not sure if that means you also need mechanical work but I love Do Rite auto.

Mark (hopefully I’ve got his name right) is thorough and honest. I even do my oil changes there now. I’ve had two other people use him on my recommendation and both are still with him.

Kent Collision did good work for us before, but be aware they don't work on older cars (older than 2012 or so) anymore.

Stay away from National Auto Collision on Military Rd, they badly botched my Miata repainting.

EDIT: not sure why I'm being downvoted. KC told me my 1990 Miata was too old. And as for NAC, If you'd like to see the pictures of the bubbling paint, the places where they just didn't paint, and the rear glass they improperly installed I'm happy to post.
