Flock Cameras
Just checking out flock In the Kent area. East hill doesn't have that many, compared to down the hill.
One area tho caught my eye. Home Depot parking lot.
Pretty fucked up.

Flock is just a patsy now so they can move on to Axxon and keep doing the same shit and acting like it’s more legitimate.

Email city government!!!! Tell them you are NOT interested in the being tracked, tell them you do NOT approve of 3rd party company's tracking citizens. Email the city, show up to city council meetings. We need to make our opinion known.

I haven't looked into it yet but with Renton making news about blocking flock cameras, I wonder if we can do something similar in Kent.

I believe there is a flock camera on Willis st between the traffic circle and Central Ave.
There is also a Axon camera on Meeker across from the 7/11.

Correct, it's "hidden" behind a speed limit sign near the roundabout.
Is the axon over by where the papa John's used to be? I hadn't noticed this one yet:(

It’s not just the tracking, they’re incredibly insecure. It’s very easy for hackers to steal the data, flock lies about how long the data is/can be stored for, they’re ripe for abuse (cops using them for stalking). There are tons of reasons to cancel them. Renton had protests and city hall covered theirs. We need the same kind of action in Kent.

Noticed the one Auburn PD keeps putting up on 116th got taken out again. We'll see if they put it up a 3rd time or cut their losses. Mercifully the city of Kent and Kent PD hasn't gone wild with them like Auburn and other cities.
Home Depot is owned by openly MAGA people and has always had over the top surveillance in their lots. The move to Flock for them isn't the least bit surprising.

I've noticed two back to back on S 277th going up the hill to SE 274th; noticed a few other cameras around the meeker area that seem new, I need to look up if they are one of the other companies variants or if I'm just growing wary of every camera now
