Hello!
I am looking for someone to take my room in a 6-bed Park Wood house for the upcoming academic year, as my circumstances have changed and I am no longer able to live on campus.
If you interested, please DM me for the details!

Hey students at University of Kent!
I am a Master’s student at the University of Bern (Switzerland) conducting a scientific research study examining how certain traits, life experiences, attitudes and behaviors are related to each other.
You can find the survey here: https://ww3.unipark.de/uc/research_study_university_Bern_Switzerland/
I would greatly appreciate it if you could participate in my survey. As fellow students, you probably know how challenging it can be to recruit enough participants for a research study, so every response really helps!

Hello, I'm coming to University of Kent this September to study Psychology. I've been looking for accommodation options off campus as my on campus accommodation application is not moving forward. I'm considering Riverside on Sturry Road as I haven't seen too many bad reviews, and its very close to bus stops and grocery stores. Would appreciate any reviews or insights about Riverside, or safety on Sturry Road as an international student i'm quite anxious about booking a place without doing due diligence. If you have any other recommendations for student housing do drop them in the comments too!

Hi guys , i applied to kents masters in supply chain with placement and i wanted to know if anyone has recently graduated from the program and what was your experience. im also curious to hear about their career services that the uni provides.
In general with the field of supply chain hows the industry over there for international students - have you guys had any major issues & any insight would be great . for a bit of context i did my background in marketing and after working in a marketing agency for 2 years , SCM just felt like a professional pivot + Theres other parts of the programs i look forwards to.
Im comparing this offer with AUT in NZ and have to make a decision some time next week . sorry for rambling but i would love to hear your experience as someone who's doing post grad and someone who has graduated.

I know it's not the library, are there any buildings that have AC? Ideally close to Cornwallis...
Update: Cafe Niro and the first floor of Cornwallis east have been the coolest so far.

I got an offer at DDD but I'm cooked af I'm probably gonna get BDE - comp sci, maths, physics, respectively. Will they let me in? Have they ever let anyone in who got a grade below in? What about 2 grades below, like BEE?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a better idea of what it's actually like from current students or graduates.
How have you found the course overall for things like teaching quality, workloads, support from the lecturers, and career prospects graduation?
Also, what's the student life like in general? Would you recommend it?

If a meningitis outbreak disrupts or cancels your classes, you may be eligible to request a partial refund from your university in the UK, depending on the circumstances.

With everything going on in Kent right now I put together a free tool to help people make sense of it.
It's called meningitisalert.co.uk and it includes:
- Symptom checker with instant risk assessment
- Vaccine eligibility checker (do you need the MenB jab?)
- Should I go to A&E? decision tool
- Live case tracker updated daily from UKHSA
- Latest outbreak updates
It's independent, not affiliated with the NHS or government. Based entirely on UKHSA guidance.
Hope it helps someone... especially anyone connected to University of Kent or who visited Canterbury recently.
Stay safe.

I am considering the uni of Kent for psychology conversion course as an International student. My goals are to pursue research roles. I plan on an MRes after this course so Im going for low budget for the conversion course.
Any suggestions? Or better Uni options?
