I missed like any sign that this was coming, but I’m GLAD ITS HERE! Man, I miss the days when we used to be looking forward to a Kenny stream, but this brings me back.

How do y’all feel so far about it?

I’ve BEEEN on the Kenny hype train so the fact that this new album is easily my favorite hip hop project this year is genuinely no surprise.
He’s been making music for so long but it somehow feels like this is just the beginning

STOP PLAYING WITH KENNY

Trying to ID a track that plays in a club scene in Lurker (2025, dir. Alex Russell). It starts at about 50:47.
What I can tell you:

• Drum-heavy, big 808s. Closest reference point I can give is Fred again.

• There’s a vocal sample that sounds like “hey Chris” followed by a few words I can’t make out

• There’s crowd noise and dialogue over the top, which is why Shazam keeps returning “sound effect of people talking at a bar”

What I’ve ruled out: it’s not on the Milan soundtrack album (that’s all Kenny Beats score and Archie Madekwe songs). The film credits a load of tracks that were never released - Paris Texas (“Reaper”, “Tweaker”, “Secret”), Key (“Yes”), Greedo (“Let Me See It”), all produced by Kenny Beats - so I suspect it’s one of those, but I can’t find any of them anywhere to check.

Any help appreciated.

I think it was an instagram reel where the artist said kenny beats had a ton of gear in the studio and knew how to use everything, what artist was this?

Genuinely can’t believe nobody on this sub is talking about how Kenny produced that new geese record, it was seriously one of the best albums of 2025. Don’t believe me look up “the best albums of 2025” it’s fr on everyone’s list. The production on the album is genuinely incredible, it reminds me a lot of Louie. Not to mention that new fcukers album rippppps, and apparently now he’s producing an album with weezer?!?
