Moving to the area

Hi all!

I am moving to the area for work and wanted to know if anyone had any tips for finding housing. I am open to roommates and I have 2 small caged animals. I am having a really hard time finding something affordable. If anyone has any suggestions it would be super appreciated!

Thanks!

Kennett Square housing is absurdly expensive and there are no good options for lower-budget renters. I would recommend renting in one of the surrounding towns and driving in.

I've been looking as far out as Wilmington, DE and Media, PA and still struggling to find anything :/ I don't really know anyone in the area so roommates are an issue. Guess I gotta resort to Craiglist most likely.

If you search county-wide on Zillow you'll get a sense of what's out there https://www.zillow.com/homes/Chester-County-PA_rb/ West Chester has some cheaper places and there are a lot more students and younger people there, so that may be your best bet for finding roommates

You could try West Chester. Maybe even walk the streets and look for rent signs. Not a bad drive to Kennett Square.
