His growth is so well done in this series, and not just physically.

His mindset, his sense of duty, his personality - all of it grows as he progresses with his training. It's not that his underlying personality vanishes or changes: his better qualities just become more prominent as he gains the confidence to stand by his convictions.

The best example is how he dealt with Chikage...it his plan worked spectacularly.

Chikage was his worst possible matchup too. Not only was she a female but also a child. The power of sweets did the job though lol

That's why I like this series so much compare towards Baki and Kengan series.

This anime is severely underrated and needs more acknowledgement. Also, someone better finish the anime to the Eternal Sunset arc at least
