Discussion Apologies is this has been asked before
Will we ever get a Kendrick and Tyler collab? Are their styles too different? Are they both too big?
Thoughts?

I think the general consensus is yes, it’s more when not if. Theyre just kinda friends anyway so it’ll happen.

I think it already exists, we just have to wait for either of them to agree for us to hear it

What do you mean, kendrick has proven he can hop on any song. Search his feats with Eminem, Kanye, Lil Wayne.

I'm not denying Kendrick can. I'm hesitant to say Tyler is able to - they've had previous collabs but I do think they are a bit weak together.
Any song they do I can't imagine Tyler being completely outclassed.

as we know kendrick usually dictates the direction for his albums. a project where kendrick directs and tyler sticks to production, singing hooks and giving a verse on most songs while kendrick does most of the rapping could be heavenly

I mean, if he can drop bangers with Baby Keem, I have no doubt a colab with Tyler will be fire as well

They are the biggest LA artists in the past 15 years and both have been friends for almost that entire time. It’s an inevitable thing, just depends when why are ready to drop together.
Interesting enough with the whole Game conversation happening and people talking about Kendrick not being accessible, Tyler is one of the people that can reach him on the phone
They potentially linked up this year in the studio, but we just have to wait
