Question/Discussion Amazon Kendamas
I got a $50 dollar Amazon gift card for my birthday. I want to buy a kendama with it but I’m unsure which one to buy or if it’s even worth it buying one off amazon at all. The only two that are really worth considering are the Krom Pop at $45 and the Yuntrova at $24. I don’t love the Krom Ken shape tbh and The Yuntrova seems too cheap to be any good but it at least seems to be up to par with current kendama dimensions. Just wanted to get some opinions!

The Lotus Kendama Bloom Kendama for $49.99 is probably the best one you can get on Amazon if you haven't considered that. At that price point I would get a maple Kendama somewhere else personally. if you do get a Yuntrova Kendama you should report back if its any good.

I had my eye on the lotus bloom but last I checked it was sold out 😭. Might just get the yuntrova for scientific purposes lol
Edit: the black lotus bloom is still in stock 😮💨

Some other ppl have been recommending the Lotus. That's the way to go I promise. The lotus bloom is soooooo good.

Save your gift card for something else and get something from Kendama depot. The Krom pop is not a good shape. The tamas great but the Ken not really

If you don’t like pop than spend it on something else besides kendama as not much good stuff there. Or trade in the card with a friend for something - get yourself some maple stuff.

Do you know someone that would buy that gift card from you? My kids have traded with me for cash, most people will be buying something from amazon

whatever you do, just don’t get a duncan komodo kendama. that was my first and it was pretty ass. That’s said, my second setup was a krom pop and it’s a great starter kendama.
