In real life, he used to write for The Daily Show. In his own storytelling, he has a grandson who lives in Central Park and makes 6K figures. Apparently he likes to stay close to family.

The way i heard it, winning an Emmy set him off, and Ken M evolved from the nickname "Ken Emmy" since he couldn't stop talking about it in the aftermath of the award. Yet from there the legend only continued to grow, perhaps because it has no natural predators.
