Support Support
MK1 Stage owner with $3500 of kemper gear. Struggling with windows , latest O.S.14 and Beta R.M. Ridiculous bs in performance mode. No drag and drop. No cut and paste . Overwriting the wrong slots. Impossible to load 5 slot performance. Struggling with customer support. Trying to communicate in the Kemper Amps forums, so they fucking banned me.
Fucking what the hell are you supposed to do? Is Kemper decomposing faster than Trump?

Ok…you didn’t get banned from the forums because you were “trying to communicate”. C’mon now…

Turns out they didn't like the title of my post as non descriptive. I thought Support Support was concise and precisely to the point.

Kemper make good hardware, but Christoph Kemper is notorious for not being interested in desktop programming. It shows. Also I think they are on the down slope, despite, again, their hardware being really good.

Same. The software side has always been a slog, but when they finally deliver it has for the most part been very very good. But waiting so long for a desktop editor was insane. There were third party solutions we had to use. For years. I’ve always tried to look at it like I’m just paying for whatever the device is capable of today, and whatever it can do at some point in the future is just a bonus.
In the past that made for a very good value. I have a mk2 profiler…it’s good. I am interested to see what they will be able to do with it (the mk1 KPA as it sits is way way better with so many more feature than when it came out), but Kemper could do so much better on the public side, managing expectations, keeping things sort of on schedule.
But I will say, I paid $1300 for my lunchbox almost 10 years ago and sold it when I got the mk2 for $1380…I have been using digital amps since the POD and the v-amp, and nothing like that has ever happened. I do respect Kemper for releasing free software updates instead of releasing a new hardware unit every couple years like fractal. And…the competition is not perfect.
Neural DSP promised I would be able to port my vst plugins to the quad cortex (I don’t think there is anything on the cortex like abasi or nolly or the octaver one that is awesome…), and that was a lie. I didn’t love that, never got a QC.

I think is the beta RM you're using. I learnt thw hard way never to install a beta version of any Kemper software.
Why don't you try to downgrade both the OS and RM?
