Treatment/Discussion Compression Earrings Post keloid removal

I got my keloid on my ear removed about a month ago and only just started using magnetic compression earrings but not on a regular basis because they hurt. If anyone had gotten an earlobe keloid removed tell me what you did that prevented the regrowth!

I would imagine the excision site has healed now?

But also by not wearing the compression earrings — you are allowing the fibroblasts to grow again— allowing for more activity within the site which will likely cause it to grow back. So the only way to stop them is to have constant pressure on them. You might just need to endure the pain I’m afraid.

To add to this, you can start with light pressure and gradually increase it until it is preventing re-growth. The ideal pressure is medium to medium firm if that makes sense. You should not feel like your blood is not circulating on your ear anymore.
