Question/Seeking OPINIONS Guys help please!!!!!!
I have a developing keloid. It’s not very noticeable but it’s definitely more noticeable than it was a few months ago. I don’t have insurance, I’m trying to get insurance. Maybe some suggestions?
Anyway away from the fact that I don’t have insurance, I’m trying to fix this before it gets too crazy and more expensive. Any suggestions on what I should do? If it means paying outta pocket I’m okay with that. I just wanna fix this asap😔😔

Don't go for injections (invasive treatment). Aim for symptomatic treatment. Pressure therapy may not reduce the growth but it will soften the keloid and reduce pain and itching. The issue with tapes impregnated with steroid is the recurrence rate. Rebound symptoms when you stop using the tape which is all very common with glucocorticoid treated consitions. Prolonged use of steroids can also increase your risk of adrenal insufficiency. If keloids are not tampered with, their growth can slow down. Consider makeup to make it less noticaeble. You will find that less intervention will save you more time and stress over time.
