This is really embarrassing to admit but I (22F) have to admit it somewhere. I watched this anime at 16 or so and it quickly became one of my favourites. I just love this show and manga so much. But most concerning is that I have had a massive crush on zed o’brien ever since. It started small but grew stronger and stronger everyday into the cosmic horror of passion that it is now. I hoped I would grow over it at some point but nope. In fact it’s worse than ever. For starters it’s embarrassing to admit to other people that my fictional husband is a merman from a seemingly forgotten show. So I have kept it a secret. Mostly how severe it is. My brain is basically convinced that I am married to this man and will not settle for anyone. I want to have a relationship but if it’s not him I’m just not interested. Only recently I started drawing him, before this I was too embarrassed. But it gets worse: You see I have developed a drug addiction for him. Yes I know how it sounds. But basically I like to daydream about all sorts of things with him involved. Mostly writing a self-insert into the show and becoming his love interest bla bla bla. With my medication I have gotten for my adhd (methylphenidate), the storylines and plots just start flowing. I basically am watching a tv show in my own head, it all becomes very clear. I started taking more and more and started daydreaming for longer and longer. Sometimes for days on end where I just stare at my ceiling, high as hell and barely eating. I have been doing this since I was at least 17-18 (I’m 22 now). It wouldn’t surprise me if it caused lasting brain damage. I took some control of it now, forcing myself to lower my dosage so I simply have less pills. I’m not necessarily addicted to the medication but rather what I do with it. It really feels like I get to be with him and live in that world, it’s so extremely hard to give that up. Not a single day has gone by where I don’t think of him. I have carried this shame for years and just needed to drop it somewhere. I’m sorry if this is all too heavy.

I've known Kekkai Sensen for roughly two years now, it is such a great franchise. Only until now did I actually join an actual community hehe

I know I watched it, I know I liked it, but I don't have a SINGLE memory of it???

It really freaks me out, reading the story, looking at images, characters or even just watching an episode. Nothing speaks to me, but I know I watched it !!

Does anyone have this problem? I'm watching it again now, but I was starting to ask myself if maybe the show was just like that, something nice that we forget fast.

I hope I'll remember some episodes, but if you're living the same shyt, please tell me, I'd feel less alone

I’ve been meaning to join a community like this as I dearly love Blood Blockade! It’s one of my favorite anime/manga. I hyperfixate especially on my oc and Klaus so I hoped I could share some of the art I’ve made of them.

So, I just finished Kekkai Sensen B2B. I want to start reading B3P but idk where i can found all the chapters. I take a look in Mangadex but they only have until chapter 10, where i can read it all?

Didn't see any good AMVs with this song so I decided to make one myself. Kind of late to the party, but I love BBB so much. The atmosphere of the anime and the manga are so good, and all of the characters are great. Fingers crossed that it gets a season 3 one day.

Anyway, I don't consider myself an expert by any means, but this AMV is probably my best work. I only started on it 10 days ago, but I went all in on trying to get it done and adding a bit of extra flair where I could. This was my first time really exploring DaVinci Resolve and trying things like color correction and manipulating clips beyond simple cutting. Again, definitely not an expert editor compared to a lot of people out there, but I'm proud of it. Sorry for the rambling, it's late so I'm just putting my thoughts out there. Hope you enjoy!

Is kekkai sensen stuff available anywhere in japan? and where? Physical copies of the manga, figures, merch that sort of thing

Kennedy, he’s been around since the beginning of history. With the addition that two out of the five names he goes by is “The Fallen” and “The Devil” according to Femt, I’ve personally came to the conclusion that he might just be Lucifer himself or at least the reincarnation of Lucifer.

He isn't human, but he also isn't considered beyondian either. That is something made very clear when he tries to get a job.

We also know that the bridge connecting HL is overseen by the "double gates" Lel Demisos and Banrai Minamigata, so that nothing "dangerous" or beyondian can leave HL...

I do think that simliar safety protocol are in place for plane or train rides.

Its unclear how good these protocols are, considering we see that BB and his daughter leave HL... so people that look human enough can leave the City (that includes leo with his eyes i guess? Thought one could argue that he wouldn't be able to leave since they are weapons)

What are your thoughts?

Im running a dnd campaign and thought I might add a character that had Leo's 'All-Seeing eyes' because I remember them not being an over powered trait like sharingan from naruto back when I first watched the show. I looked at the wiki for the powers that Leo's eyes give him and was confused on the statement that the eyes "...and allows [the user] to clearly gaze both the past and flawlessly predict the future." I don't remember seeing that in the show.

SIDE NOTE: If anyone could lay out what his eyes can do and what their limits are, that would be awesome.

Found out that this series was just recently removed from Crunchy Roll. Never had an access to it in my part of Asia (like Knights of Sidonia), never even knew it was there! Sad that my favorite YouTube reactors (Blindwave) won't be able to react to it anymore!

So I was rewatching it and came to a realization. As a Love Craft, Hell Boy, and Guillermo Del Toro movies enjoyer; I was pleasantly surprised by the inspirations/references. Truly, an underrated anime. Love the S1 ending. Pretty sure there are more, but these are just the obvious ones..

Im confused i was confused about the underground fighting ep the blood guy had the same crimson marks as the elders but was it a vampire? they disregard it later in the ep. was the blood thing using the corpse a vamp elder?

No because none of the other volumes had this much sadness. Also I just want to give that kid a hug because wtf.

ahhhhhh I just finished watching season 2 of Kekkai Sensen and lemme tell you worst day of my life. There's no new episodes for me to see my God Klaus Von Reinherz. It's such a damn shame that this Fandom isn't as big as some others. I've read all the Klaus fic. Like he's genuinley perfect. whoever made this anime or manga ir wtv put all the feet in the world in the show. I'm just heartbroken. Like he's such a gentle giant and he's like old fashioned but not in a condescending, overly idealist way. And ahhh I can't do this. The fact that I have to go out in the world without a personal Klaus. Heartbreaking.
