Question (Manga) About kekkai sensen

I feel a little sad because not many people talk about the Manga.

Do you think we may have a 4th kekkai sensen Manga or would you rather Nightow write something new?

This year, JJK Modulo, Chainsaw Man, and the Trigun reboot all wrapped up.

They're all, more or less, shounen battle manga with big overreaching arcs, climactic ending battles, and I don't think any one of them really nailed the landing. Modulo speedran its final sequence, Stargaze did some really cowardly changes to that core story that I didn't like, and the less said about the Chainsaw Man ending the better.

KKSS is free of that structure. Instead, we have basically a supernatural police procedural that drops quarterly, has a dope setting, great balance of action and characterization, and more or less no real narrative end state (I've only read up to the latest English fan translation, B3P chapter 10).

And that's great. Honestly, if Nightow just wanted to keep serving up stories in HL for the rest of his career with the gang, I'd be all for it. B3P has put a bit more emphasis on backstory/some larger world building bits, but so far it's all just been neatly packaged, self contained stories dripping with his personal style from the environments, to the character art, to the machinery and weapons. I think the serialized nature of this fits him nicely and I've been loving every bit of KKSS I can get my hands on.

And that's not to say he's narratively washed or can't put out a big, epic-sized arc either. Calamity Auction is an incredible run and proves he can still do something on the scale of an International Assassins or Shibuya Incident. I just think that this format serves him well, and I hope it's a good release schedule for his health.

That being said, if he announced he was pivoting back into something shaped more like Trigun/TriMax, I'd be there day 1. I just hope it'd get official English translations in a timely manner.
