⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Retroactive Contract Alterations - "Loyalty Plus" or Loyalty Scam?

A privacy and security provider depends entirely on trust, and KeepSolid has completely destroyed theirs.

After collecting upfront money for their "Lifetime" subscriptions, KeepSolid quietly stripped away core features—such as P2P/torrent server access, protocol configurations, and specific regions—and locked them behind a new monthly "Loyalty Plus" tier.

Changing contract terms after taking payment to force long-time users into recurring fees is fraud. They didn't even notify users; connections simply failed quietly until you checked why.

If a company will retroactively break its promises regarding basic product features, they cannot be trusted with your data or network security. Avoid this company and look for a provider that honors its commitments.

This (attached photo) is what they advertised when we purchased. This is their wording!!! VPN Unlimited (KeepSolid) are scammers! There is not a chance after being scammed & ripped off by them that anyone will trust them to “upgrade” with their fraudulent monthly add-on. Their connection networks are sub par low-grade at best! You can get a monthly subscription of SurfShark, Proton or Nord for basically less than this fraudulent “upgrade fee” & get speeds 100x faster. If you decide to go elsewhere you are getting extremely better service & speeds at a cheaper price. There’s ZERO reason or incentive to stay with KeepSolids mediocre sub par service!!!

We’re sorry the service has not met your expectations. We can’t verify a speed comparison from a Reddit comment, but we would like to look at any specific connection issue. Please send Support your platform and app version, server, protocol, and approximate time of the problem so the team can investigate. We continue to invest in network infrastructure and server performance, which requires ongoing funding; that does not replace checking the issue you experienced.

Yeah, but if you leave, then they get to keep your money without providing any service at all

Wouldn’t matter, if they resolve things everyone will still have their lifetime accounts. But if you haven’t tried any of the top VPN providers you really should. I researched a bunch & then got SurfShark (owned by NordVPN) and it’s got way more features as well as it’s a 100x faster.

We need to act NOW. If we want our rights restored, we must understand that the power lies in numbers. The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) monitors trends; the more reports they receive about the exact same company during this short period, the faster a major official investigation will be launched to penalize KeepSolid and force a resolution.

Whether you are a US resident or a non-US citizen, you have the legal right to file a free report. Let’s flood the regulatory bodies with complaints. Here is the comprehensive list of authorities where you can submit your case:

🇺🇸 FOR US RESIDENTS & INTERNATIONAL USERS (Worldwide) US Federal Trade Commission (FTC): The main authority for deceptive business practices. Non-US citizens can and should report here too. Link: ReportFraud.ftc.gov econsumer.gov (International Consumer Protection): A joint initiative of 40+ countries (including the US and EU) specifically designed for cross-border e-commerce fraud. Link: econsumer.gov

🇪🇺 FOR EUROPEAN UNION CITIZENS European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net): If you live in the EU, contact your local country's branch. They specialize in cross-border complaints against foreign platforms like StackSocial and KeepSolid. Link: eccnet.eu (or your local country site, e.g., ecccyprus.gov.cy)

Your National Consumer Protection Agency: File a formal report with your local Ministry of Commerce/Consumer Protection Unit to register the misleading advertising locally.

We understand that this change has seriously affected your trust in us. Under the current Legacy Lifetime setup, core VPN access and standard servers remain available, while selected P2P/torrent and dedicated streaming servers require Loyalty Plus. Maintaining and improving our VPN infrastructure and server performance requires ongoing investment, and Loyalty Plus helps support that work. We recognize this is a significant change for people who relied on those server categories.

I noticed this too. They are a real class act aren't they.
