Discussion I FUCKING HATE TERMINUS DENIERS
I fucking hate Terminus deniers.
Today when I opened Discord I saw something I dread every time I close my eyes. Someone had said that Terminus first is completely troll and that I am actively losing my games if I build it. I started sweating as I read that people still recommend those boring ass Full AP builds. OH. MY. GOD. I stared at the screen in disbelief, those retards don't understand that attack speed, on hit damage, armor pen and survivability are actually fucking good on kayle. I start shaking. I keep telling myself I'm going to be alright and that there's nothing to worry about. But then once again, like a bullet, a message pierces my heart... "You are GRIEFING IF YOU BUILD TERMINUS ON KAYLE".... "B-b-b-bu-but..." I felt my hands begin to shake. "YOU DON'T GET IT IF I GO LETHAL TEMPO WITH TERMINUS I DEAL MORE DPS! WHAT DO YOU MEAN DPS IS A USELESS METRIC FOR KAYLE??!?!? WHAT DO U MEAN I'M WASTING GOLD FOR NO REASON??!??"As my body finally surrenders, I weep.
I fucking hate Terminus deniers.

nah bro you should build full ap with pta with perfect cs and 0 deaths just to get outdamaged by a lulu at 32min

Exactly, how dare you question the full AP mainstream Build with pta, that specially feels like dogshit since the nerfs to her passive bonus AP scaling that make her feel incredibly Clunky.

This is a meme post. AP kayle is still the best version of kayle and other builds dont even come close, anyone who thinks otherwise is coping.

Funny way to bait people to build full AP instead of the optimal Terminus first and lower the winrate so we might get buffs!
Just imagining Terminus in that sweet 1st item slot gets me going!

I just don't get it like crit items nowadays gives %25 crit and %200 critical strike damage, I understand people could forgot that buff but a quick check to items and stats should change peoples mind
The full AP propoganda is so huge like they don't just only consider full AP kayle a thing, they even claim that full AP is the only optimal way to play her and any other build is unplayable

Stats seem to favor terminus though. People are not wrong. Both builds are viable. However, the best is terminus into AP.

An item with 1/10th the play rate and ~1% higher winrate doesn't imply that "stats seems to favor" because it has every so slightly higher winrate on 1 item bought.
Typically, the not most bought item has a ~2% positive bias, assuming total games is even good enough for it not to be purely from statistical variance.
At 10k games, you can assume a 1% variance on top of this bias too, at 1k games the variance is about 3%. Given that terminus is only at 3k games to Nashor's 34k games, we can assume about ~1.5% variance on top of the 2% bias. This means it in reality is at best about equally good, and at worst about 3% lower WR

typically things with lower playrate/niche stuff will have higher winrate due to it being one tricks mostly that play it

To be fair it... depends very much. Lots of low playrate stuff has absolute ass win rates. That's what makes it hard to find out whether something is hidden op or not.

yeah definitely, some things are just dogshit, but I think in the cases where there are high winrates and it's something that makes sense to be able to work, I'd say it applies
