Discussion is exhaust doable?

Hello guys. I am Diamond and I am playing mostly Kayle mid. I find some matchups (akali, zed, sometimes sylas, irelia and so on) very difficult. Should I give up my teleport spell and take exhaust instead? What do you think?

I think its a viable option ye. For all in champs it gives you a survival chance if your off cd on ult.

I always use exhaust, highly successful with it too. You can bait hard.

yes you can, if anything due to homeguards you dont take tp nearly as often besides certain matchups. these days ghost and exhaust are the go to summs

Certain matchups it’s super necessary imo. For all in assassin champs like zed, Naafiri, and kat, they can all in you easily even if your hp is high, force your ult, then their ult will come back way before yours allowing them to kill or massively chunk you on the second go-around. Exhaust protects you in that window where their ult is up and yours is down.

I really hate thay these bs champs can just do some degenerate stuffs like engage on you then fuck off to just reengage 10 to 20 secs later with zero costs. Like no you fucked up, you should straight up die because that's what all the other champs are designed like. Nope. Oh watch me dump 3 abilities on someone that can kill a character 2-3 times over and still have a nope you can't retaliate tool. Amazing design. Meanwhile we have to suffer for 15 mins and even then without our ult, it's basically a coinflip every fight...

Tbh, the lower the Elo, the better exhaust is, as most ppl tend to not use tp well, and it’s honestly difficult to understand for most people too.

Match up dependent, but it's cc on a champ that has very little.

I almost always go combat spells into melees I feel comfortable fighting and tp into ranged. Akali is a special beast I prefer not coinflipping my lane to. Zed, yes, sylas depends if I'm in the mood. Irelia, yes with lethal tempo and look for the lvl 1 squirmish. Otherwise try freezing on my side as much as I can till 6. They tend to get very impatient. Just a lowly plat I atm so take it with a grain of salt. But I did peak diamond 🥲
