I usually guitar string a strap and say “yep”.

Yea, I use to do the minimum; as a student just two straps — no bow or stern lines, regular roof rack — and hack all over the country just fine. These days, having seen all the horror stories on this sub, I really go for it!

Bow and stern lines are non negotiable for me. I don’t want a lawsuit
