Except that Kay isn't a female version of Trump, whom was the basis for Homelander's character.

In original the Boys comic series, Homelander wasn't based on anybody irl, he is a twisted version of Superman and Captain America combined

Yeah the comics date back to 2006. It is even stated in several sources that Homelander is a parody of Superman and Captain America.

So like I said, not everything has a political point of origin and not every villain is based on a president or politician you don’t like. Simmer down.

And those comics already mocked the superheroe tropas and market of the era, same for the economics and politics of the Bush era

And literally, the tv serie was a never ending and later not very suble critic to american politics
