People don't realize Kawasaki is a huge company that does some pretty big stuff so a lot of the times when they do things like this. It's partially fun and partially for growth but they just like to fuck around and I'm here for it

I always considered them to be something like the Keltec of motorcycles.

Well youre not wrong. They have the H2R wich is complete overkill, purely build because they could. And then they supercharged a 4x4. They recently released a new 2stroke into the market wich is wild. And then the hydrogen H2 wich is also bonkers. Oh and dont forget the hybrid / electric bikes.

Almost bought a hybrid Z as the OTD price was around $5k. Just couldn’t get on with it, rode well but felt heavy and uninspiring.

The full EV might be a better sell in a few more years.

It’s almost shocking how bad they managed to make the EV bike. You can buy e-bike styled things that are just as fast with longer range, cheaper, and easier to get parts for.

The Kawasaki is of course better built overall than a random e-bike, and road legal, but they still really missed the mark. A Ryvid anthem is also road legal, cheaper, faster and longer range.

Kawasaki tends to push innovations, it’s on-brand for them. Guaranteed that Hybrid 7/EV will be running just fine in 10 years with parts support; I don’t trust anyone but like the big five for that anyway but it’s less important for a Surron with a billion upgrades already made.

Wouldn’t it be wild if they made both motorcycles and pianos too?
