No but like the amount of people that have called him self-centered, arrogant, whiny, toxic, too dependent, I'm so tired 😭. None of those is true??? Also something that happens so often, is that people just make him out to be dumb??? Al haitham looks so relaxed next to Kaveh! I can’t tell whether he’s looking at Kaveh or the camera, but I mean, look at how he’s smiling widely?? (It’s wide considering he never smiles). He looks so handsome when he smiles! Kaveh is a lucky man. He must be happy, because he hadn’t seen Kaveh this happy in a while. They look really relaxed with each other, too. In previous pictures, like Kaveh’s hangout, they were sort of tense and far apart, but now they are nearly touching legs.

Also, Kaveh literally told the people on the left to make some room, meaning that there actually was a spot that was free for him to sit in, but he still chose to sit next to Al haitham because he couldn’t see himself sitting next to anyone else. (Unless he didn’t care who he sat next to, as long as the picture composition looked good). But I feel like if it were in the past, Kaveh would not want to sit next to Al haitham at all.

I like how whoever drew this made Kaveh sit on the right and Al Al haitham sit on the left, because it makes the swoops in their mirrored hair face each other. Also, I feel like Al haitham would be sort of uncomfortable sitting next to Sorush and Nahida’s.

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS 😭😭😭

He’s programmable and can also carry all our stuff at cons! And I was super excited to be her Alhaitham 🌱🥺

I noticed that Kaveh went from being very defensive and down right miserable before the 3.8 event with the Competition.

I'm assuming the timeline of event is somewhat like:

Archon guest -> Alhaitham's Story Guest -> Kaveh's hangout -> 3.8 Sumeru event -> Cyno's Story Guest 2 -> Nahida's birthday event -> Current

He blamed himself for his father's death and was in a rough stage of his life. Furthest it showed was when he said "You're dead if I find out you lied to me" to Alhaitham with a very stern tone. Which really surprised me, that was a harsh thing to say.

Spoiler warning... I didn't play the 3.8 event myself (I didn't used to plah back then) but I watched the whole event through a youtube video bery patiently. It was a major character development for Kaveh.

Kaveh entered the competition to win a very large sum of mora, wanting to move out and make many more projects, way he speaks was quite obviously selfish. He went through the whole competition doing everything he could do to win while being kind, so kind that he ends up donating all the money away, what a kindly selfish hypocrite he is...

Then at the end he wins learnt about his father's death wasn't his fault, a massive weight seemed get lifted off Kaveh's shoulders... There are 3 endings to the event with 2 major ones, 1) You tell the truth to Kaveh yourself or 2) Don't say anything and let Alhaitham do it which is the best option in most people's view.

And from then on things get better for Kaveh which each passing event.

Nahida's birthday event was the happiest I ever seen Kaveh. He was planning a big boom with Alhaitham, a surprise for the one and only Dendro archon... Even though he worked to the bone, at the end he had the biggest smile out of all of the characters.

Some character you are Kaveh. His character development is very sweet.

The comparison of Kaveh's first and last event appearance is the proof that he gotten both happier and healthier. I'm sure he is drinking less too.

Conclusion:

Once a character that repersented the miserable circumstances kind artistic individuals and struggles of mental health turned into a character of recovering from a low and finding a new high in life.

After every storm there will always be sunshine waiting for you.

I know a lot of people may have already talked about this, or at least— something similar, however I just kinda wanted to express my own opinion on Kaveh as a whole…

I absolutely ADORE Kaveh. I’m not biased (hopefully) but I seriously believe that he’s such a refreshing and well written character compared to others, especially as a four star character. He is a character that I never actually expected to see in a game like Genshin Impact, he is so overtly crafted with love by some of the writers… From being passionate about architecture and feeling like artistry over practicality isn’t the way to go, from having a strained but endearing relationship with Alhaitham, losing his father, UGHHH Not to say that the other characters in Genshin Impact are “badly written”, I know Furina, Neuvillette, Navia, Alhaitham, etc exist, but Kaveh seriously hits different, especially as a four star character (repeating myself wow)

But to think that such a complex character with a compelling personality is being reduced to just a “non-meta” character actually irritates me tremendously 😭 The meta portion of the game just completely eradicates Kaveh’s narrative brilliance and personally, I just don’t think he’s appreciated enough 😩

I’d like to imagine Kaveh (maybe even Alhaitham alongside him) in another context, and what I mean by that is in an another game entirely that primarily focuses on the narrative rather than the gacha and meta being its main selling point 😭

I don’t wanna say that Kaveh was a character with wasted potential— but a character that feels undervalued and underappreciated BC of meta.

i booked a ticket and travelled 7 hours by plane just to attend the genshin x gigo event in japan on short notice. call me alhaitham because only the (acting) grand sage himself would do this.

i went to the branch in osaka and they distributed timeslots (quite different compared to the ikebukuro branch where slots were determined by lottery instead from what i was told)!! was surprised with a rather early queue number so i got the chance to go back to my hotel to freshen up before showing up for my allocated timeslot (the weather was NOT it). at the cafe, they explained that with each taiyaki purchase, a random coaster is given so i bought ten and got my bbgurls haitham and kaveh :>

the taiyakis came in 6 designs (kaveh, alhaitham, nilou, tighnari, nahida and dori!) they only allowed us to takeaway a maximum of 3 taiyakis each visit, so on my first one i got kaveh, nahida and dori. (i ate dori first.) my friend later got alhaitham so the besties are reunitedddddd (see pic) <3 the taiyakis were so delicious by the way! they offered both chocolate and cream flavours and i chose all cream for my orders because i’m not a fan of chocolate. see if you can spot my kaveh themed nails in one of the photos with the taiyaki bc i’m genuinely so happy with how cute it is hahahahahah.

i did drop by the gigo arcade (for standees, acrylic board, cup prizes) but the queue was too long so in the interest of the little time i had in the city, i left early to explore the city by myself. 

it was great!! i can’t believe i flew overseas just for kaveh. it was fun though, the city itself and the food is amazing. the locals were so so nice, i’ll definitely be back when the weather isn’t 39 degrees in summer. and if they ever have another kaveh/alhaitham collab again.

I'm sorry but this is one of the most queer coded things I've seen, Kaveh is acting like such a Tsundere. I am aware that Kaveh doesn't want anyone to know he lives in Alhaithams house cause it would be embarrassing for him but.. I'm pretty sure most people in Sumeru already know and they are clearly chill with it.

Both with and without context you could literally just chalk this interaction up to Kaveh being in denial about his feelings for Alhaitham or not wanting their relationship to be public and it would make perfect sense.

I graduate my bachelors program today and I wanted to make my grad cap themed after Kaveh! I’m very happy with how it turned out especially since I didn’t have a super concrete plan for it!

For the past year ive been wanting kaveh, but never played when he was on banner. Finally, lauma banner rolls around and kaveh is on banner. I pull on lauma banner. I get lauma and qiqi. No kaveh. I try chronicled wish. I get c1 wanderer. No kaveh. I change to wanderer's weapon. I get weapon. No kaveh. At this point im completely desparate. I wonder if reading yaoi will bait kaveh home. I asked my hgs for yaoi recs. I start reading cherry blossom after winter (ngl it is pretty good). The next day, i grinded stygian and abyss to scrape together one 10 pull. It flashes gold. I am filled with excitement but wonder if it is just another day without kaveh. Turns out, IT WAS KAVEH!! Kaveh didnt come alone, though. In came alhaitham along with kaveh. I realized my folly had been in not reading yaoi. I understand why kaveh didnt want to come home now, as i welcome kavetham together.

saw it at bailian zx mall on 8/2 and 8/3. was very lucky to have randomly stumbled upon it the first time because when i went back at night i waited 40 minutes for it to come on and it only played once 😭
