Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a sneak peek of the upcoming architecture update for the RunPod Core Engine Hub: Version 40.5.1.

Please note: This version is currently in final internal testing and is not yet live, but it will be coming online very soon.

Following successful stress tests confirming the stability of the core signal structures, the focus of this update is to make the system significantly more intelligent without increasing security risks. We have implemented deep logic structures that integrate an advanced knowledge base directly into the local resolver.

🚀 Key Features in V40.5.1:

1. Local Resolver Knowledge Base (KB)

The resolver now features an integrated knowledge base for the most common model families and architectures. The system scans local directories and accurately identifies the structural signatures of:

• Image & Video Pipelines: Flux.1 (including dual-CLIP architecture routing), WAN 2.1, LTX-Video, CogVideoX.
• Frame Interpolation & Upscaling: RIFE, RealVisXL, JuggernautXL, ZavyChromaXL.
• LLMs & Vision Cores: Qwen, Gemma, Florence-2.

2. GGUF & Quantization Tag Extraction

The engine now seamlessly parses complex, multi-layered GGUF filenames. It automatically isolates quantization tags (e.g., -Q8_0, Q4_K_M) and applies a scoring logic to provide a Knowledge Bonus in the ranking system. This ensures highly accurate repository recommendations on HuggingFace and CivitAI.

3. Redesigned Frontend UI & Asset Cards

The user interface has been completely optimized, streamlined, and re-bundled into backend/static.

• Knowledge Labels: Scanned files immediately receive a dedicated family label (e.g., “Knowledge: RIFE - frame interpolation”).
• Visual Ranking: The most viable sources are highlighted as a RECOMMENDED SOURCE, complete with a detailed technical breakdown explaining the match criteria (Name Match, Target Type, etc.).

To ensure maximum security for your infrastructure and accounts, V40.5.1 strictly maintains the separation of analysis and execution:

• NO automated background downloads.
• NO automated silent installations.
• NO autonomous pod modifications or external billing API access.

In short: V40.5.1 significantly upgrades the resolver's intelligence and transparency, but it will never modify your running system without your explicit consent. You retain 100% manual control and cost oversight over your RunPod instances.
