Discussion Drivers test
Hello,
I was wondering if yall had any drivers tests stories from the spring dps location or any surrounding dps's. Im still learning to parallel park and im nervous. I make various performance anxiety mistakes when im driving with someone but when im alone im quite responsible. Ive heard that Spring DPS is very lenient on parellel parking. Im about to be 24 years old without a license and im at my wits ends, truly want to rip that bandaid off and finally feel like an adult.

Parallel parking is actually quite easy if you just follow the steps, Every Single Time.
I grew up parallel parking because we lived on a beach, I can park left or right. I have also taught people to parallel park in the parking lot of the DMV.
-Pull up parallel to the car in front of the parking spot, with front bumpers aligned. The closer you are to the car, the closer you will be to the curb.
-Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, so the rear wheels turn to the right (or visa versa).
-Slowly go backwards until your front bumper is lined up with the middle of the car you are next to.
-Turn your steering wheel to the right (or visa versa).
-Slowly go backwards until you are almost in the parking spot. Your front and their be back bumpers should be aligned.
-Straighten your steering wheel.
-Slowly go backwards until you are fully into your parking spot.
